Google has a new collective intelligence approach to image tagging. @ images.google.com/imagelabeler/ they offer a sort of a game.

The idea is that they pair you with another person online. Then you and another person try to type different associations in regards to a certain photo shown.

Its a game and points are awarded. After a two minute period you are told whether or not you had any matches with the other person.

Overall this might be a very very clever way to improve google image search. Actually its fun to do a few pictures. When you get a hit points are awarded and you see a green notification.

Come on Give it a try: images.google.com/imagelabeler/

Well, I feel bad that I did not come up with this nice and clean concept.

Its great @ ask500people.com you can *erhm* ask 500 people…

It’s simply brilliant.

Examples of things people asked:

Do you think you’ve ever had food poisoning from eating at an Olive Garden (restaurant chain)?

Do you hear more than one language when you walk around where you live?

Would you agree to give up an organ or limb for $100,000 ?

And lots more – It’s great fun to watch too
