Well, I don’t mean to sound ungrateful but… but why does WordPress needs to be updated all the time? What’s up with that?
I am considering removing the version number that resides in the reader you know the one that reads:
– leave this for stats –
I don’t want to be the obvious victim of some script-kiddie,…
I am not a software developing genius, but could it not be made easier to update this thing?
I have several sites running WordPress and I don’t like supporting this whole “copy folders” thing. It must be possible to make some sort of updater via the XMLRPC thing that is already running…

Hey,
there is actually a quite cool way to do it:Updating with Subversion.
Dunno if your web provider lets you run the Subversion-stuff. But it sounds like the right way to do it.
