“Wow!” that was I thought as I found that Google make a lot of their internal 1 hour sessions public at: youtube.com.

Basically as many other large corporations Google has the money and also sees the value in having interesting people speak and inspire their workers.

After seeing the Google invitational video below with presidential candidate Ron Paul, I was blasted away. I think I would vote for him… why? He is ultra liberal seen from the little nation of Denmark where I happen to live. Denmark is a socialistic country and we are pretty much the worst case scenario that he is talking about.

I am from Europe (and pro-American) and I must say that I find Ron Paul to be dead on right on many of the things he points out.

Ron Paul is right the govenrment will keep on growing if you let it!
In Denmark taxing has gotten to the level where you effectively only get to keep 15-20% of your income, if your lucky… the deal is that the government has made sure that you cant calculate the effective tax that you pay (at least I cant).

Let me share some of the key points: In Denmark, you get taxed roughly 45% for starters. No your eyes are working fine, they take nearly half of your pay. That is just the beginning (did I hear any Americans say “Ouch?”, “OMG” and possibly “SOB”?).

Hang in there were are just getting started. Once you actually reach a certain level of income, there is the infamous “top tax”. I can hear my readers uttering “Top tax? what kind of unholy construct might that be?” well, get this for every Danish Kroner (1/5 of a US Dollar) you make after DKK 350.000,- they take 65%! No really, this is not a joke. You could make 350000 (and be taxed close to half of that amount), then you could keep on working making an additional DKK 100000 and then fork over 60-65% of that. I can hear laughter from across the ocean…

Can it get any worse? YOU BET! after all Denmark is a semi-”socialistic” country. So what can we tax next? Well, lets tax anything you buy with an additional 25% purchase tax (VAT)? That’s right! Want a piece of ham for your sandwich, well take some of the money that was already taxed once or twice and then PAY AND ADDITIONAL 25% in tax when buying anything.

Well, it could not get worse now right? Even vampiring parasites and leaches run out of imagination at one point, but hang in there the Danish Socialistic system have more of the good stuff coming. Do you want a car? I bet you do, after all most people do. So why not put a say triple-tax on cars! We have a saying around these parts that “You can only have a sports car once you have started to loose your hair”, that is because if you want a new car, you will have to pay for not one, not two no you will have to pay for three of them (again, this is NOT a joke).

And that is just for starters, the government invented a lot of other stuff as well that you need to pay for as you go along: registration fee twice a year, 1 liter of gas is $2… so a gallon would be roughly 4 times that amount.

Lets see what the chances are that you could have a nice car under those circumstances unless you are a criminal or maybe were borne lucky.

Anyway, all you Americans out there. Don’t fall for this scam, no matter what, the government will always invent new reasons and new departments and new odd programs that need funding. That money will come out of you pocket…
