This video below contains foul language but it is very cool.
At least in Denmark we can observe that a lot of young people buy in to the whole “gangster rap”-attitude culture for instance: wearing fake diamond earrings, dressing up in hip-hop-clothes and adopting the body language of poor Afro-Americans as seen in MTV hip-hop music videos.
This naturally is odd, since nobody in Denmark is really poor. So what happened? and why does ordinary white teenage boys feel attracted to pretending to be black gangsters? Why don’t they pretend to be Indian or Yakuza
Anyway, here is a video made using the appearance of black hip-hip but singing about being average:
It just make the style seem odd :D
