Microsoft word 2007 has a build in blog interface that rocks!
September 13th, 2007
I am not sure how to categorize this, but Microsoft word 2007 has a very cool interface for blogging.
Basically you can type and work with text as you would any other document, and then you just publish to Wordpress or whatever provider you might use
I personally think this is great. I usually write in the ordinary wordpress backend:
I think the real advantages are:
- A real spell checker
- Very easy to work with pictures (I really do prefer to be able to just cut-and-paste – There I also the simple drop shadow effect as seen in this post)
- General ability to work with blog posts as you would work with any other document.
Basically, I like writing my blog posts the same way I write all the other text I write, and despite googledocs, I still feel that word is the best document writing tool.
An example:

Smart Art

And then insert it =)
Video will have to go in via the old interface though!
Anyway, if you have word 2007 and you blog give it a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed. I know I wasn’t!

I tried to do that too; technical ineptability stopped med halfway, but I warmed myself by the though of the messed up code I wasn’t going to see… – But it appears that the code isn’t screwed – and I take your word for it when you say you actually did post this from word (that is, if you are not an under cover Microsoft agent…).

Maybe I was lucky :D
Anyway, I really think Microsoft Word 2007 is a really great piece of software.
I use it daily for my PhD and to produce documents in general.
I think Microsoft actually succeeded in making it easier for average users to produce great looking documents.
Well that is just my 5 cents, and I did use to work for Microsoft. I am not going to make a post about how much IE6 sucks, although IE6 sucks very much :)

I’ve been pretty happy about office 2007 so far too. Only thing that bugs me is that ‘they’ have been to lazy to redo Visio for the 2007 edition. I really lie the new GUI on Word, Outlook and Excel – and therefore using Visio with an ‘old’
GUIUI is somewhat annoying. Will try blogging from Word again :-)

I dont think so. Office 2007 have increased my productivity.
Sure, some things are still bad and sometimes confusing, but overall it makes my documents look nicer :-)

I agree – still the crack part might be closer to the truth than the other allegations.

What is more expensive? Office 2007 or Crack?
Feel free to discuss.
